Summary: Validator complains on attribute "name", however
                    required
           Product: Validator
           Version: 0.6.7
          Platform: PC
               URL: http://pauillac.inria.fr/~ddr/tmp/consensus.html
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: major
          Priority: P2
         Component: check
        AssignedTo: link@pobox.com
        ReportedBy: daniel.de_rauglaudre@inria.fr
         QAContact: www-validator-cvs@w3.org

The validator complains on attribute "name" of "map", however required for this
tag, if I understand HTML and XHTML standards well.

If I replace the "name" by "id", it does not complains any more, but the areas
links do not work on my agent (Mozilla 1.8a3, a very recent version).
