http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=917

Summary: Detect and handle "user clicked stop" case and browser
                    timeouts
           Product: LinkChecker
           Version: 4.0
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P3
         Component: checklink
        AssignedTo: ville.skytta@iki.fi
        ReportedBy: ville.skytta@iki.fi
         QAContact: www-validator-cvs@w3.org

If a user aborts a link checker run (also probably if the user's browser times
out), the link checker process continues to run in the server until completion.
This should be avoided, if possible.
