http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=936 Summary: Problem with "Validate by File Upload"... Product: Validator Version: 0.6.7 Platform: PC URL: http://validator.w3.org/check OS/Version: Windows XP Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: blocker Priority: P1 Component: check AssignedTo: link@pobox.com ReportedBy: karaviti@yahoo.com QAContact: www-validator-cvs@w3.org Sorry, I am unable to validate this document because its content type is text/plain, which is not currently supported by this service. The Content-Type field is sent by your web server (or web browser if you use the file upload interface) and depends on its configuration. Commonly, web servers will have a mapping of filename extensions (such as ".html") to MIME Content-Type values (such as text/html). ========================================= I checked my code and it was text/html and NOT text/plain. I uploaded another - online - file and it gave the same error. When I validated the same file using the URL, it worked fine... So, there is a problem with the upload files feature... ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug, or are watching the QA contact.
