http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=831 Summary: CSS Validation where authentication is required (password protected Web sites) Product: CSSValidator Version: CSS Validator Platform: Other URL: http://tblankenbeckler.southwest.tn.edu/itec2010127 OS/Version: other Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: CSS 2.0 AssignedTo: ot@w3.org ReportedBy: jmcgrory@southwest.tn.edu QAContact: www-validator-cvs@w3.org The CSS validator will not work on a password protected Web site. Since the same problem was observed in the HTML validator, you may pick up much needed info by reading Bug 805 (http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=805) As I noted in my report of this identical problem in the HTML validator, I am a teacher. My students are required to add the CSS validation code to their Web pages, which are password protected. I must have the ability to go behind them and double-check this validation. I need your help in restoring this feature to the CSS Validator. Thank you. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug, or are watching the QA contact.
