The W3C CSS Validation Service wrongly reports: > normal is not a font-feature-settings value : normal while the CSS Fonts Module Level 3 W3C Candidate Recommendation 3 October 2013 clearly states that (<http://www.w3.org/TR/css-fonts-3/#font-feature-settings-prop>): > Name: font-feature-settings > Value: normal | <feature-tag-value> # > Initial: normal this is further reinforced with: > A value of ‘normal’ means that no change in glyph selection or positioning occurs due to this property. Clearly ‘normal’ /is/ a font-feature-settings value and that this must be a bug in the validation service. Note: I checked the bug list for CSSValidator and failed to find any bugs relating to font-feature-settings. Regards, Tom Thorogood.
