Hi, Thanks for the report. The last version of the css validator which runs on http://qa-dev.w3.org:8001/css-validator does not check the ssl certificate path validity[1]. The official instance on jigsaw.w3.org will be updated as soon as this version has been tested enough. Feel free to use it in the meantime.
