I have background: url("graukeil.gif") repeat-x top; in my declaration and get a Value Error : background Parse Error [empty string]. This happens with and without the quotation marks inside the brackets and with double and single quotes. Reading the documentation I seem to have done everything right. (Also the browsers interpret the declaration as intended, but that doesn't mean much.) I've searched the FAQ and the archive but couldn't find anything on this. A sample page showing the error is http://axel.berger-odenthal.de/Webdesign/Testpage.htm Danke Axel -- Dipl.-Ing. F.
