It looks like the problem was fixed in the dev version of the  
validator (see my message 27 Mar) but broken again in our process of  
cleaning up the validation grammar.

The bug is in the test suite:
http://dev.w3.org/cvsweb/2002/css-validator/autotest/testsuite/general/selectors/multipleattribute.css

But it would be helpful if you made sure it was properly recorded in  
bugzilla:
http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/
