Hi: I have been trying to validate the attached CSS style sheet using the file upload method. I get the following error message Lexical error at line 1, column 3. Encountered: "D" (68), after : "<!" No Style sheet found Please help I do not know what the error message means. I believe it means that on line 1 col3 it encountered a syntax error. I have checked the DOCTYPE statement several times (retyped, copied it directly from your website, changed it to transitional , and loose options) and I still get the same error message. In the HTML validator there was an error message indicating that the validator did not work with Internet Explorer due to a Windows Xp Service Pack 2 bug which was fixed in Ms05-014. The article advised that I download Ms05-014 and install it. I did that , and still get the same message. I inserted the style sheet in an HTML document via a link statement, and it seems to work fine. However, I want to develop good coding practices and want to conform to the W3 standards. Please Help. I do not have another browser Hormazdyar S Dastoor Farohar Technologies, 335 First Avenue Stratford CT 06615 homidastoor@hotmail.com hormazdyaz@sbcglobal.net
