direct input limit?

Hi

I'm new to the list. I've joined as I've found what may be a problem with
the validator.

Is there a number of charcters limit for any reason on direct input
textarea?

I seem to be able to enter css up to a certain size. When the input gets so
big it just won't sunmit anymore. Doesn't seem to even try.

I've looked through the faqs but was unable to find anything relevant.

Any ideas?
