GUI for the CSS validator?

There have been talks of providing a jar of the CSS validator, and this
is certainly a good idea. However, if I am not mistaken, even with a
jar it is quite difficult to install the servlet on a Web server.

One interesting workaround would be to create a java GUI for the CSS
validator (a la rdfpic[1]), which would surely be easy to use on almost
any platform, especially given how ubiquitous java is on the desktop. I
have hopes that by making the tool more widespread, we could get more
java developers interested, and hopefully ramp up the level of
development and maintenance for the tool.

Do you think this is a good idea? Would anyone be interested in
undertaking this?

Thanks,
