problems with our new pages

WE HAD A STUDENT BUILD US A WEB PAGE USING YOUR DIALOG OR CASCADING PAGES. HE HAS SINCE GONE AND WE WERE NOT HAPPY WITH OUR PAGES SO WE BUILT A NEW WEBSITE OURSELVES .THE PROBLEM IS ALTHOUGH WE HAVE DELETED HIS PAGES ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE OF OUR CUTE FTP SOFTWARE , WHEN WE UPLOAD OUR NEW PAGES THE OLD HOME PAGE IS STILL THERE AND CONFLICTING WITH OUR NEW PAGES.
THERES STILL REF OF FILES TO HIM WEHICH WE BELEIVE ARE AS WE HAVE COPIED DOWN.

we tried allways to delete his files with no success and our server fol arnt having any luck either.
cuteftp say its not them if the right hand side is clear of files it uploads our new site but doesnt show it only the old files.

weve been on to css files we have on disk and have successfully logged on to validater thats where we got your address .
