Hello, I'd very much like to check my pages for css validity, however it appears to me that the validator might not be working properly. Is it? It says that it cannot find the style sheet, but the style sheet is there, and accurately linked, and operative. The validator gives these warnings, for example: Line : 51 free is not an HTML Element Line : 51 these is not an HTML Element Line : 51 which is not an HTML Element Line : 51 are is not an HTML Element Line : 51 be is not an HTML Element Line : 51 free is not an HTML Element Line : 51 editor is not an HTML Element Line : 51 no is not an HTML Element Line : 51 can is not an HTML Element Line : 51 cost is not an HTML Element Line : 51 editor is not an HTML Element Line : 51 downloaded is not an HTML Element Line : 57 revised is not an HTML Element Line : 62 css is not an HTML Element Those are simple text word, not enclosed in any html tags except <p> and </p>. Look at line 51, for instance: <p>Would you like to learn or review by playing with a html text-editor? Each of the following two, selected websites provides its own html text-editor, which can be downloaded for free. Yes, these are free, no cost: </p> (NOTE: This is academic work, by the way, non-commercial, a help page in a online class that I will be teaching; so please do not be put off by the content here.) Kindly advise. I really would like to have my pages validated and to learn from accurately identified mistakes. Thanks. S.A.M.
