Dear W3C. I wondered if there was a limit on the size of StyleSheet checked with your online CSS Validation Service? I have been testing a CSS script using the service and am a little confused about an error, I think Im getting and am unable to locate. I say "think" as your CSS Validator actually does nothing... except ping if Enter is pressed. The particular StyleSheet I'm testing works fine if I test it in sections and I get no reported errors or warnings. The Validation Service simply refuses to check it as a whole. It does however seem to work fine in my Browser. Could it possibly be a problem with my order of element referencing, and if so would the Validator Service Identify such an error? Or is there a series of possible errors known that the Valitator won't identify or proccess? I have double checked and tripple checked my Styleesheet for errors, ensured all references, elements and properties all used same case, Data types etc. as well as mirroring the layout style used in the Specification for CSS2 but the Validator still just pings... If however I remove a few sections of code the system checks the StyleSheet and again reports no errors? Could it be a size limit? Martin. martin@invisiblevision.com
