The CSS validator now honors the mime type in priority and not the file extension. In your case, the http server returns "text/plain": HEAD http://www.markzobel.com/style.css HTTP/1.1 HTTP/1.1 200 OK Date: Thu, 22 Mar 2001 05:43:15 GMT Server: Apache/1.3.6 (Unix) mod_frontpage/3.0.4.3 Last-Modified: Mon, 19 Mar 2001 03:27:58 GMT ETag: "a30e48-b82-3ab57cbe" Accept-Ranges: bytes Content-Length: 2946 Content-Type: text/plain CSS files are under the mime type text/css, and not text/plain.
