Hot topics currently being discussed in the forum (amongst the 452 active threads): "Has anyone any experience in the auto-cascade system used in -150'C freezers? All I know is that it uses a single compressor and a special mix of refrigerants" "…consider this scenario. Screw chiller, water-cooled, 500 ton using R-22. Set point 40 degree F chilling plain old water. Machine running along with little to no load and nominal cooler flow, also cool condenser entering temp. say 65-68 degree F. Flow control on outlet of condenser water to maintain at least 160 psi. Large load comes on suddenly, 85-90 degree water entering cooler with vastly improved cooler flow. What might happen to the compressor?" "Can someone tell me from where I can obtain the technical manual/electrical for this chiller - 30GH030 - 710AEE and the overhaul manual for it's compressor 06E 6275 RA 610A EE?" We are still working on jobs outside the UK and hope to present vacancies in the US, Canada and Australia in the New Year. ******************** ANSWER THIS...? ******************** "I think that I am going to be the lucky one who does a refrigerant change on an old Fison environmental chamber in the New Year. It's currently running on R502 and R13 but will be changing over to R23 and I think we are using R408A on the 1st stage. Originally I thought 'this could be interesting' and then I realised where the job was...the chamber is in a room that is about 2.5 times the size of itself, the compressors etc are all at floor level (and at the back of course!). The normal aggravation with changing the compressor oil pales into insignificance when I saw the location of the oil separators :-0 Anyone out there used R23 and have any input would be welcomed" http://www.refrigeration-engineer.com/chat/showthread.php3?s=&threadid=503 ...Then why not visit the FORUM where this & hundreds of other similar questions are being asked: http://www.refrigeration-engineer.com/chat/ ****************************** ARE YOU INTERESTED...? ****************************** Would you like to write for the site?
