anymonth numbers look to be under, Lel Bruce Peto updating recently with prices assessed at 1.5cts gal over the screen or around 72.75cts gal. Premium gasoline still fetches a huge spread to regular, but it's faded a bit, with high octane RFG now "only" 18cts gal over the Merc. Gulf Coast gasoline was discounted by 2.7cts gal on a prompt basis, putting numbers around 68.5cts gal at week's end. This number is heaven sent to downstream marketers who are looking at the widest rack-to-retail spreads since Year 2000 in some cases. Distillates were weak across the board. Heating oil drifted just under in N.Y. and closed around 68.75cts gal. Gulf Coast bbls plunged to 2.25cts gal under the screen or to just 66.5cts gal or so. These are the lowest numbers since late Spring in some cases. The high sulfur numbers dragged low sulfur quotes..
