Ding! No, but thanks for playing. A mime entity IS NOT NECESSARILY A MESSAGE! I've tried to explain this a zillion times! You can describe regular raw gif files with MIME content types. You can for example do % metamail -b -c "image/gif" foo.gif where foo.gif is just a plain old gif file -- no headers, no nothing.
