The overview is on http://info.cern.ch/hypertext/WWW/HytelnetGate/Overview.html All that loverly data was too good to miss! It uses the <PRE> format a lot, so you need the WWWLibarry version 1.1 or later in your browser (or the display looks a mess). You could use the htn2html program recursively to convert a whole bunch of hytelnet-style files into html. You would then have the option of editing them to put pointers to other things than telnet sites and files on the same system, and you could introduce some fancier formatting.
