Before you start it might be useful knowing that the W3C has been running a "Web Payment WG" since 2015, pushing out deliverables with close to zero uptake by the payment industry since the latter to 99% put their money on native mobile applications supporting multiple use-cases including widely deployed person-to-person (P2P) payments. thanx, Anders
