And way too much of it is focused on helping people work with WebIDL, when it would be better if they spent more time thinking about the right API and then getting WebIDL to work for them. In other words, I encourage anyone who wishes to work in this area to steal any and all content they wish to take from that document, but I wouldn't consider it to be anywhere near good, or at a level at which someone who doesn't already know APIs should pay too much attention to it (though the WebIDL sections can help navigate some pitfalls).
