Hi,
SVG allows bare name, xpointer and 'svgView' which uses a xpointer
compatible grammar which will be processed as an unknown xpointer scheme
by a non SVG-aware processor, so there is no conflict with the generic
processing of +xml documents.
XHTML fragments id uses a subset of possible XML names, and hence is not
conflicting with base name references, so no issues in XHTML as well.
Cheers,
tracker, this is ACTION-450
