http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/How_many_angels_can_stand_on_the_head_of_a_pin%3F non-information resources: angels URIs: pins I'd oppose any further effort to get anyone (including IANA) to change the operational behavior of their web site based on httpRange-14, or *any* claim that, just because some context uses an HTTP URI to identify what that in that context is considered to be a "non-information resource", this use dictates how the service at the URI's host/port should respond to requests using the URI's path.
