Hello everyone, This mail is the final part of my action (ACTION-50) on investigating two, Ajax-enabled javascript toolkits to see how well they support creation of URIs that can represent intermediate states in applications. This mail relates to an investigation of scriptaculous [1] and prototype [2]. The scriptaculous library [1] provides facilities that help developers create advanced user interfaces for web applications. It concentrates on user interface controls, and on features such as drag and drop. It uses the prototype library [2] to provide underlying utility function and the framework for its object model. I've been unable to identify any specific support, within either scriptaculous or prototype, for creating URIs that represent application state. Best wishes Rhys [1] <http://script.aculo.us/> http://script.aculo.us/ [2] <http://prototypejs.org/> http://prototypejs.org/
