Start of TAG election by W3C Advisory Committee

Here is an edited version of the message I just sent to the W3C Advisory
Committee announcing the start of a TAG election.

This is the start of an Technical Architecture Group (TAG)
nomination period for two seats. The seats, which expire on 
31 January 2006, are currently held by:

  * Roy Fielding, Day Software
  * Henry Thompson, U. of Edinburgh.

First, please join us in thanking these people for their
contributions to W3C as TAG participants. Current participants
whose terms are expiring may be re-nominated.

The Director has reappointed both Dan Connolly and Noah Mendelsohn 
for 2-year terms. Many thanks to Dan and Noah for their continued
contributions.

All four terms are for two years, starting 1 February 2006 until
31 January 2008.

We invite each Advisory Committee Representative to nominate one
individual. Details have been sent to the Advisory Committee.

The deadline for nominations is 23:59, Boston time on 
30 November 2005.
