Hello to the www-tag group. I would like to submit for your review a document that describes an approach for defining semantic equivalency within XML or other document formats (such as idocs, RDF, Schema, HTML and related metadata). The Universal Data Element Framework (UDEF) is based on ISO 11179 metadata standards, and is moving towards international standards body adoption. This approach is also gaining momentum within industry association e-business groups, and we believe that it can have broad applicability to HTML for the purpose of more accurately identifying metadata in web pages and for search engines. The white paper is available at http://www.sanghainteractive.com/whitepapers.html. A home page for the effort is available at http://www.udef.org. There is an active mail list for those interested. Archive is at http://www.topica.com/lists/udef.builders/read Thanks for your time. If you are interested in participating, email me and/or subscribe to the udef.builders mail list by sending mail to udef.builders-subscribe@topica.com Best regards, John Hardin ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ john c hardin director / founder - sangha interactive 877.572.5691 - 313.737.1197 cell john@sanghainteractive.com http://www.sanghainteractive.com http://www.udef.org http://www.topica.com/lists/udef.builders/read/ http://www.geocities.com/johnchardin/
