To let you know that the XML Linking Working Group has decided to remove this normative dependence: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-xml-linking-comments/2002OctDec/0032.html I am still convinced that dependences between specs will become a major issue for the W3C in the coming months and I have submitted a suggestion on the www-qa@w3.org mailing list: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-qa/2002Oct/0023.html It's probably not revolutionary nor rocket science, but seems to be giving birth to an interesting discussion. Thanks for your attention, Eric -- Curious about Relax NG? My book in progress is waiting your review! http://books.xmlschemata.org/relaxng/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Eric van der Vlist http://xmlfr.org http://dyomedea.com (W3C) XML Schema ISBN:0-596-00252-1 http://oreilly.com/catalog/xmlschema ------------------------------------------------------------------------
