I’m trying to understand the current and evolving SVG Animation ecosystem.

This document: SVG Animations Level 2, W3C Editor’s Draft 17 January 2019 -  https://svgwg.org/specs/animations/

It links to https://www.w3.org/TR/?title=svg to get the current status, however it does not appear there. If this is supposed to direct people to SVG 2.0 Appendix D, that should be explicit: https://www.w3.org/TR/2018/CR-SVG2-20181004/animate.html

Will there be 2 documents?  - SVG Animations Level 2 AND Appendix D: Animating SVG Documents
