SVG event at Sydney F2F

Hi all,

Last year we had a small SVG WG meets the public event during the Sydney F2F.
Mark, would like to run another in 2016.

The current proposal is to host it in the city near Martin Place (so fairly close to Google HQ) on Thursday evening.

I think Mark has one talk lined up already, but he is looking for more. I know we’re all busy with preparing SVG 2 for CR, so I’m hoping someone has something they may be able to reuse from a past conference?

There is also apparently going to be an event organised by the CSS WG at Google during that week. To me it makes sense to collaborate on planning these events if we can. I’m not sure if merging the events into one would work as the SVG members may not be in during the CSS event, but perhaps we can have some talk re-use.
