Hi, In today's telcon we discussed adding the src attribute to <image> and <script> and how it should interact with the 'href' and 'xlink:href' attributes. Previously[1] we'd discussed the following priority: 1. src 2. href 3. xlink:href Amelia brought up concerns about people using 'src' on an SVG image to provide some fallback to an HTML image. I don't know the particular pattern so perhaps she can elaborate. Towards the end of the discussion I think Doug was suggesting we only add 'src' to <script> and not <image>. I don't have a particular position, my question was just how the href IDL attribute would behave in this case and whether we would introduce a src IDL attribute or not. I suspect the behavior I outlined in my previous message[2] could probably work here too even if we have three attributes involved.
