Dear Cameron 1. Excellent start! 2. On first reading, I think that there is now rich enough functionality to allow meteorologists to draw warm (red semi-circle markers), cold (blue equilateral triangle markers) and occluded (purple alternating semi-circle and triangle markers) fronts, as seen on any local weather map! I just need to check that the orientation options, whether for vertex, mid-segment or positioned markers, are slick and not clunky. 3. I will think about how to draw some other more esoteric weather fronts (basically using the same markers, but the intermediate path strokes are purely dots or crosses. If you want some samples in SVG1.0, see https://github.com/OGCMetOceanDWG/WorldWeatherSymbols/tree/master/Ft_Fronts 4. Section 8 has 3 paragraphs duplicated: "[<length........shape side." 5. 'Knocking out' looks interesting but not sure we can use it immediately. Isn't it just a generalisation of line endings/caps, and thus terminology should be consistent? I am not sure that I like the L/R terminology - surely it should convey an 'end/start' semantic to fit in with path direction. 6. Section 1: first bullet, replace "at every other vertex" by "at all other vertices". This is the less ambiguous phrase already used in Section 4. 7. Is it worth having a short section saying changes since SVG10, 1.1 or 1.2?
