The PF working group is working to manage naming conventions across host languages and modules extensions for ARIA. They are looking to use this naming convention: Core Accessibility API Mapping Guide (this covers base ARIA mappings, focus, base name and description computation, etc.) HTML 5.x Accessibility API Mapping Guide SVG2 Accessibility API Mapping Guide This would be followed by modules with these potential namings: EPUB Structual Semantics Accessibility API Mapping Guide (essentially maps new ARIA roles to platform accessibility APIs) Graphics Visualization Accessibility API Mapping Guide Our SVG2 spec. would reference API mappings from the Core (ARIA for native host language semantic roles and ARIA roles in general) and at some point the Graphics Visualization Accessibility API Mapping Guide I have started work on the SVG version. We will be using respec. What does the group feel about this naming convention? Rich Rich Schwerdtfeger
