Hi,

I had an action to review CSS3 Cascade and it's influence on SVG[1].

I could not find any incompatibilities to the usage of CSS in SVG as specified in SVG 1.1.

However, CSS3 Cascade specifies how scoped style declarations can influence the values of CSS properties per element. Scoped style sheets were introduced in HTML5 but are not part of SVG yet and would be a great addition to SVG IMO.

I see my action as fulfilled and am happy to report with more details during a conference call.
