Hey @w3c, I have an interesting idea for an RFC proposal for SVG: when
drawing circular or elliptical arcs, there should be an attribute that one
can set to switch the coordinate system from cartesian to polar, so that
the values required to define the arc would be the x,y radii, center
coordinates, and degrees of arc. I've run into several situations already
where using polar coordinates would more elegantly and precisely draw an
arc than the current strictly cartesian method.
