Hello Robert, Thanks for pointed this me out So, I guess that we can say that "it's not a bug, it's a feature" ;) As a Designer point of view I have to said that adding "auto" in the list of valid value for pointer-events is really intuitive. With "none" and 'inherit" this one is part of the best known and mastered values in the css world. But the point is that right at the moment this new value is not part of the standard. Is there any proposal to push it to the spec ? I agree that it would be a very good improvement to have this value in the standard.
