Hello www-svg ;o) Looking on the clip property of SVG1.1 and its implementation I currently observed an interesting change/error/regression in Opera 9.5 and later. Previous versions got it right as some other viewers like Batik/Squiggle or the adobe plugin. This might be related to a change of the definition of the clip property in CSS2.1 compared to CSS2.0, SVG1.1 refers too, therefore the new CSS2.1 definition is clearly wrong for SVG1.1. Is it intended to refer to CSS2.1 in future versions of SVG and therefore make this property finally unusable for authors, because the behaviour in newer and older viewers will be completely different? Or should it be explicitly clarified, what remains correct for SVG to keep this property usable or will this property be skipped anyway in the future in favour of other new properties or attributes with a similar functionality, as currently discussed? Olaf
