SVG in email sent to w3 lists

Simon,

would it be possible to ensure that the archive reproduces email as
sent?

It appears the archive currently removes html content.

this has significant impact for people who prefer to use HTML or SVG
in their email.

one example is my signature, as attached.
a W3 archived and edited version is here:
http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-svg/2008Apr/0054.html

it is likely that inline SVG content will be enabled for various email
viewers, in the very near future, and
those people who may rely on this facility to communicate, will be
significantly benefited by your attention to this request.

regards
