[mmi] Call for Participation: Workshop on W3C's Multimodal Architecture and Interfaces

Dear SVG mailing list,

I am sending this Call for Participation to you because there was
some interest expressed by SVG guys at SVG Open 2007 Conference.

As you might know, W3C will hold the Workshop on Multimodal
Architecture and Interfaces (MMI Architecture) on 16-17 November, 2007
at Keio University in Fujisawa, Japan hosted by W3C/Keio.

Important dates and deadlines for this workshop are:
- Workshop dates: 16 and 17 November 2007
- Position papers due: 5 October 2007
- Final agenda: 20 October 2007
- Registration closes: 3 November 2007

The goal of this workshop is to identify and prioritize requirements
for extensions and additions to the MMI Architecture that will improve
the use of the architecture to better support speech, GUI and Ink
interfaces on multimodal devices.
