Its not our spec. However, we have encouraged Sun to register it. According to the latest draft "For compiled languages, the xlink:href attribute must reference a script element that itself references a JAR archive holding a manifest with an SVG-Handler-Class entry pointing to an EventListenerInitializer2 implementation." The only type discussed in the draft for this purpose is "application/java-archive"; there is little doubt that the SVG Working Group expects implementations of the Java language bindings to support this type; if that is not expected, there is no reason to discuss and use the type in the draft. So yes, a call for implementation of the draft is a call for implementation of the unregistered type. -- Björn Höhrmann · mailto:bjoern@hoehrmann.de · http://bjoern.hoehrmann.de Weinh.
