Error in one of the examples

In the SVGT 1.2 spec doc, there is a non-working example:

In my understanding, it doesn´t work as it should, because the event can´t fire without the attribute
 
focusable="true".
 
Mr. Andrew Emmons helped me finding this out. I don´t  think that the documentation expresses it that way. As written I read that the pointer event should take care of foci without setting the attribute.
