Hi Chris, As you know, I left the SVG WG in May and have been focused on "Ajax" lately, and thus I am now just a member of the community. As a member of the community, I would like to express a strong congratulations on reaching this important milestone. At this point, I have lost track of how many years SVG-t 1.2 has been under development, but it is great that it is finally at the point where the SVG mobile community can progress on implementations with knowledge that the specification is now stable. This is a critical market enabler so that the mobile community can feel confident in embracing rich mobile web applications that leverage open standards, with SVG-t 1.2 for the interactive graphics and user interfaces. These mobile applications require key new features from SVG-t 1.2, such as scripting, opacity, gradients, and simple text wrapping. I hope PR and Recommendation will happen quickly.
