I've read most of the messages on the mailing list the last couple of 
days and I think SVG 1.2 should be reconsidered.

Especially the comments Ian Hickson made the comments from Mozilla 
developers made sense to me.

I think a proper test suite for SVG 1.1 should be developed first and 
SVG 1.2 should wait till after that. Furthermore, SVG should try to stay 
on scope, not becoming an application language or some such.
