Hi, I don't have all that much feedback but I will fragment most of it over several posts so as to specialise the threads. My first reaction after reading the 1.2 WD: this is all very exciting, and I really look forward to the fascinating stuff that will become possible with 1.2. My second reaction though is: I know this is the first WD, but I do find it a bit short (ie not detailed enough). The reason for this is not that I find it lacking in content per se, but that some parts aren't detailed enough for one to provide useful feedback. An example of this is section "2.4 Rendering Arbitrary XML". That's a bit that is very dear to me as it pretty much describes the better part of my experience with SVG but those few paragraphs are not enough to allow me to provide any feedback beyond "Yes! We wants it! Itss our preciousss!" I suspect that other SVG users may feel the same, for this part of for others. I am mostly stating this because the tone of the document would seem to indicate that one of its major goals is feedback. If that's not the case then I guess this comment does not apply ;) Apart from that, great job! -- Robin Berjon <robin.berjon@expway.fr> Research Engineer, Expway 7FC0 6F5F D864 EFB8 08CE 8E74 58E6 D5DB 4889 2488
