This is only part of the IE binding of the implementation behavior (time2) to the namespace for the elements. It otherwise follows the pattern for processing instructions - try putting it in the document head. Note that if you use a Doc.write with browser sniffing, the PI will not work (it has to be scanned during the initial document parse). Is there a way of hiding it from Netscape, or is it strictly necessary for XHTML+SMIL?
