With SMIL 2.0 just having entered Proposed Recommendation, now is a good time to catch up on what this new version will be bringing to the Web. Two upcoming conferences will be holding the CWI SMIL 2.0 Tutorial. The first is Hypertext 2001 on August 15th, 2001 in Aarhus, Denmark. The second is ACM Multimedia 2001 on October 1st, 2001 in Ottawa, Canada.
