Well, I've managed to get my presentation as ready as it's going to be for today. I have one remaining bug to work out, but it is minor and won't affect my presentation today. So, here's what I've discovered so far: When my RealFlash movie proved to contain more frames than the G2 player was capable of handling, changing the FPS to 1 worked. However, this solution is obviously not optimum. Once I figure out whether it's my problem or the players problem, I will move ahead with this and start working in the real animation sequences. As far as the current minor problem I am experiencing, it is related primarily to timing issues I think. Due to the fact that I am only using 1fps, the timing of my Flash animation and my RealAudio files is not perfect. If the user tries to jump ahead in the presentation to a song that starts like .3 seconds or so before the point that has been jumped to, then the song doesn't start playing. I am going to pad out the songs so that they all fit perfectly into time, but I'll hafta wait to do that until after the presentation. Well, y'all, have a good day! Once I get the presentation online, I'll let y'all know. Does anybody here know of a good host that doesn't cost an arm and a leg? I MUST have wide bandwidth, a G2 server, and probably about 40MB of storage. (I think I could get away with only 10MB of storage, though) The biggest thing is, I >MUST< pay for the service, because I don't want my host putting up banners on me. Take it easy!
