Hi, in some cases (especially in the case we want to use SMIL ;-)) it would be of great help, if the area of an anchor is not restricted to a rectangle. I am thinking of a ploygons. Now me idea, wouldn't it be better for future enhancements, not defining the coordinates of the anchor-area through attributes, but through a new element called <point>.
