> I am going to be making a presentation on SMIL's capabilities on >01Jul98, and am working on my demo right now. I am going to incorporate >RealFlash, RealAudio, and RealText. My big question is this... I have >heard the difference between old RealAudio and the new one, and am >flabbergasted. I would prefer to use the new RealAudio, since I >honestly consider it to be a big bonus, but can't find anything to >encode for G2 Real Audio. Being as your e-mail address includes the >words real and com in it, I figure you should be the one to tell me >"Bugger off, we're not givin' it away yet." Or something. heheheheheh You can find our RealEncoder G2 at http://www.real.com/g2/products/index.html This encoder will allow you to create G2 Audio files. Since this is a Preview Release, you can only create low-bitrate ( < 20k ) audio only files by using the command-line encoder. We have added that functionality to the GUI for Beta. To use the command-line: in a command prompt, go to the directory you installed the encoder in and type - realenc /? This will give you the directions. If you have any questions, please let me know. ____|\__|______|\____|__________|___| Yvette Soler (206)674-2460 ____|/__|______|_\___|____o_____|___| Lead Quality Assurance Engineer ___/|___|___|_@___\__|___|_____@____| Audio-Video Quality Specialist __|_/_\_|___|_____|__|___|__________| Tools and Authoring Products ___\|/__|___|____@___|___|__________| yvette@real.com / o "Is your web site media hungry?"
