Regarding: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-rdf-validator/2002Mar/0475.html If you look closely at the grammar in the RDF spec, you will note the following RDF/XML is either a typedNode (TN) or propertyElt (PE): TN - 9: <EAD ead:relatedencoding="MARC21"> PE - 10: <EADHEADER> TN - 11: <ead:FILEDESC> PE - 12: <TITLESTMT> TN - 13: <TITLEPROPER>William Fonds Provenance</TITLEPROPER> Line 13 is a typedNode (rule 6.13 in the spec) and it may ONLY contain propertyElt's (rule 6.12). Since the content of Line 13 is a string (per rule 6.24) a syntax error is produced. Art Barstow ---
