They have indeed become more dynamic, complex and demanding. Likewise, scientific insight in multi agent systems (MAS) has grown in recent times and intense research activities are deepening and broadening our understanding today. This doctoral consortium invites all contributions within the scope of multi agent systems applied to industrial environment. ********************************************************************* 2 Topics of interest Some topics may be, but are not limited to : - Supply chain management - Production planning - Medical applications - Information Systems ********************************************************************* 3 Submission Interested PhD candidates are requested to submit a position paper of 3-6 pages following the IFAC format (http://www1.elsevier.com/homepage/saf/ifac/site/IPV%20overview.htm) The Doctoral consortium Committee, composed of other submitting candidates, will select participants using the following criteria: - Relevance to the MAS and industrial domains. - Quality of the presentation. To apply as a student participant in the Doctoral consortium, you should send a position paper at the following address muller@emse.fr, summarizing your research. It must include: your name, the name of your advisor and the specific research area in the field, the stage in which you are. You should describe in the position paper: the industrial context, the problem you are solving, the expected contributions of your research and a brief comparison with previous research work. ********************************************************************* 4 Important dates : Deadline 27 February 2006.
